Hello everyone,
I have a Xiaomi 15 ultra and whatever I do, my pictures are taken in HDR.
I deactivated the HDR option from the parameters but google photo indicates that are taken in the Ultra HDR format. I can see the screen brightening, indicating it’s HDR content.
Pictures taken with Gcam are normal jpeg, no HDR.
Did I miss an option?
Thanks
If my screen luminosity increases that should mean the picture is in HDR. And all of my photos make the screen brightening up.
I saw content showing an HDR button on the top right corner, next to the Leica profile button. Pressing it shows HDR or a crossed HDR button.
It’s missing on my end.
Pretty sure Google Photos is not saying the correct information. I’ve taken photos with HDR on and off and the output is massively different. Despite this, Google Photos will still say both are using Ultra HDR when clearly one isn’t. I’ve attached the photo without HDR, and in my follow up reply, I’ll post the other photo with HDR.

For me it happens unfortunately.
Try in Pro Mode and check or take full resolution 50mp pic and check
Second photo, same condition but HDR is on

If your screen brightness suddenly increases while viewing the images then HDR is very much on.
I hope they fix the issue fast
