Xiaomi will probably release a new cheaper variant of the K30 5G called Redmi K30i. The main difference is a cheaper camera (48MP instead of 64).

Keep in mind that this is a leak. The source is reliable but always take leaks with a grain of salt. Looks like this new device is based on the Redmi K30 5G, so it’ll most likely use the snapdragon 765G, but it’s not sure. We only know that the sensor is a 48MP sensor, but no info on the model.
i would really like if it only had one selfie camera
i dont see why people would want two of em
And AMOLED
The design also looks outrageous
if the leaks are true about it being the k30 without a 64 mp cam then it will probably have a ips panel
tho i wish it get amoled aswell
I just want a 4G K30 pro that don’t break the bank just like k20 pro .
I don’t give two shits about 5G when in my country you can’t get 4G in most areas.
I would love a K30 pro with a SD 855 or 855+ as the k20 pro becomes very hand to find
I’m with you on this.
Im still waiting for Mi a4
come one Xiaomi
release the officials for that phone
Yes i would love that to !
They seem to be ignoring that A serie, so even if it comes out it’ll be a mess with updates.
The K30 should be a K30 pro with a weaker chipset, like the K20 with the K20 pro. So popup camera and amoled display.
I really wish they’d just have a single front and rear camera of higher quality.
The only time secondary cameras seemed remotely useful is the ‘action camera’ secondary camera on a recent Motorola.
For those unaware it’s basically a wide angle lens but with a sensor orientated such that holding the phone vertical captures landscape wide angle video.
I’ve always wanted a budget stock Android device so I was interested in A series. But after botching update after update and bricking device, I’m not willing to try it out and potentially lose my money.
And not on global market cause only God knows where global poco x2/k30 are
Ooorr. They could at last bring a the K30 to the global market ?
And I’m also scared about the plastic around the body.
Please have a pop up camera and keep the full display
^please
>should be
You mean should’ve been?
I don’t give a shit about 5g even if I had access to it since it’s 5€more with the only carrier that has 5g somewhere in my country and also because the contracts with a data volume that is large enough that the limiting factor is the speed and not the volume are way to expensive.
I hear you man but xiaomi doesn’t hear us.
Many of us just want a high performing processor and a high quality screen. In screen fingerprint scanner and gold plated back covers are not necessary. Poco f1 was near enough perfect for me. I’d love to see the concept repeated.
I am keeping my eye on realme devices as they seem to still be keeping their profit margin low. I feel like xiaomi is copying other brands like the oneplus series.
You’re right but the thing is that realme phones aren’t cheap on Chinese retailers
>I don’t give two shits about 5G when in my country you can’t get 4G in most areas.
Doesn’t mean everyone else doesn’t.
I for one can’t wait for Xiaomi to launch 5G enabled devices in this country.
I’m already bored with my Xiaomi phone exchange
Worse, Greece 😛
I’m not against them lol
But xiaomi needs to offer 4g versions too
How many phones they are launching. Already they are suffering to keep updating the software on their phones. Flooding the market with tons of phones with only slight difference. Many people are confused with their phones and no idea which one to buy. Being a tech enthusiast, still couldn’t keep up with thier phones. Difficult when someone ask for some phones and i have to dig about their specs and benefits in google.
would that phone work in the usa ?
my carrier is at&t
Yeah, also the cameras are overkill.
My brother is an artist photographer. Taking good pictures is about skill and talent. And the people serious about photography will always prefer a separate camera. The general public just takes pictures to put on WhatsApp or insta.
mi a1 -> a2 (reduce battery capacity, or choose lite if you want bigger battery capacity)
a2 -> a3 (reduce display resolution to 720p)
a3 -> a4 I wonder what spec they will reduce further lol
