Xiaomi beard trimmer 2c not starting

I recently bought a Xiaomi beard trimmer 2c. I used it once after purchase and yesterday I tried to use it but it was not turning on. So I tried to charge it and sometimes the top most light would keep blinking while the bottom two was fully on and other times the bottom light would keep blinking while the other two are off. Is it a problem with the battery? Is there any way to fix it?
