Really similar to the Mi Mini headphone.
Do they have USB C ?
Price is good at under 25$.
Look nice
Seriously? The lite versio is rmb79 and this little dot is rmb 179
Anything special about these earbuds?
Could you explain me why? I’m interested to buy new wireless earbuds.
because they don’t look like you have cigarettes sticking out of your ears, those long tubes make the Apple AirPods look like the most ridiculous truly wireless in-ears ever
Doubt they could compete with ease of use and sound quality of airpods though. I’m a die hard android fan but I love my airpods
Xiaomi’s high end earphones usaly sounds way better than apples
I am not complaining about the price. I just love it. And seriously, loving it 😘
Well that are quite small completely wireless In Ear headphones, with active noise cancelling, no big latency like others/disconnects (due to first BT 5.0), a control touchpad, 5h battery (same as 200$ Airpods) and not a complicated pairing process for 25$.
Tell me any other manufacturer with those feautures that don’t look like bricks and then tell me one who offers them at 25$.
Then tell me that they are not special.
I don’t like these. Looks like thousands of other generic ones that’s been on AliExpress for ages.
Are they compatible with iOS?
Nov 11
Are you sure they’re active noise cancelling? Would be great and a technological first if it was – but sounds too good to be true…
Yeah look of them is nothing that we didn’t see but Xiaomis products have much better quality than some random products on eBay and AliExpress. You need good connectivity, good battery and good sound for this kind of headphones and Xiaomi is definitely able to deliver that. We just need to see first reviews.
Also they will be first to implement 5.0 Bluetooth.
Xiaomi has some active noise canceling headphones available for cheap. I wouldn’t be surprised
Of course
I hope they released them in mate black !
Hope I can get some in the UK
I hope they come in black too
I wonder what the sound quality is like. I have their neckband earphones that have aptX and those are great. I couldn’t tell that they are bluetooth and not wired, even with proper high bitrate files. I suppose these won’t be as good, and for me that’s a deal breaker. What I would like to see from them, however is a similar pair of neckband earphones, but with noise cancelling and aptX. I mean, they have the technology in their wired headsets, so they just need to put them together.
Do AirPods work with Android, or do you have an Apple device for them?
Me too, but then again it’s more discreet on you, at least on non-black skin faces. I’m guessing at some point they will release black ones too, if they sell well – of course they’ll sell like nuts!
Truly wireless earphones have come a long way in improving sound quality, and xiaomi knows how to make good sounding headphones, so I’m optimistic!
They work on Android but not as well as they do on IOS
True. I have the active noise cancelling USB-C ones. They’re pretty good, but they’re wired and around $40.
Would be pretty groundbreaking if these are ANC and fully wireless BT5, and cheaper…I’m hoping…!
Insta buy for me if they do
Yeah, came here to say these look nowhere near as good as Airpods. 199 CNY is a banger of a price though, if these are up to Xiaomi earbud standards.
Which app is that?I do use AirPods a lot with Android

Thanks mate!This would be awesome
They work, and connect way faster and more reliably than with iOS, at least in my own experience.
Would you know about availability in Egypt?
I don’t own them
I hate these rubbery ones that squish into your ear, I find them so uncomfortable. I wish they’d make ones like apple
I really hope for usb-C, this will be perfect, probably i will insta-buy it
Ima buy it tomorrow, perks of living in China as a foreign student.
That’s true. My bad, was too excited to even read the article. It should be in stores though, for potential customers to check it out. Guess i will try it out tomorrow at Wanda.
Soon you will be able to order them over AliExpress.
Cool, i was looking into getting iphone se just for the ease of use with airpod. If these air dot are as good or better than airpod, might as well get this instead.
Sound quality? I’m an iPhone user but I always felt like the EarPods had practically 0 isolation, and based off the hard plastic I would assume the same for the AirPods, but I have not tried them yet. The ease of use is a huge benefit though, I’ve been tempted to try them out just for that side of things and have my doubts these can get anywhere close.
Is it water resistant
Obviously like they don’t sound anywhere near studio headphones but they don’t have a crunchy sound that’s hard to listen to, they have decent basses, good haptic controls, not officially waterproof but mine have fell in water and worked fine, super fast charging, never fall out of your ear, pretty solid Bluetooth range and they are extremely lightweight and comfortable
What’s the difference between the two models? The lite is much cheaper…
Thanks
UK store is opening this week.
InstaBuy
What makes it even more impressive is that they Pixel Bud like real time translation feauture. So each person has one, and they get the others language directly translated.
From what I’ve seen it says that it includes an usb cable, not specifying which type..
Wtf ? really ?
It’s written in the chinese slides ?
Do you know if the airdots use AptX ? this will be sweet
Yeah I’m still on the hunt for some headphones that are similar in style to airpods that don’t go deep inside your ear. One of my ears must be shaped weirdly because they always fall out. Unless its etymotics style.
Title got me excited D:
What’s the difference between the Airdots and the Mi Minis?
Only A2DP, no aptx or AAC 🙁
I’m leaning towards them but I hear mixed things about sound quality and android compatibility. I don’t mind the look of them.
Yeah I don’t exactly want sound isolation in this case. Do you know of any alternatives that aren’t sound isolating?
the title “launched” suggested, they’re on sale already as well…
Unfortunately not sorry
I only know Apple earphones aren’t sound isolating
Agree with first sentences, but I’m pretty sure there are a lot of bluetooth 5.0 devices like these already.
Yeah I guess my concern is without a good seal/isolation you may lose significant bass, which their EarPods lacked in my opinion. I don’t need bass heavy, but the pods that come with iPhones just felt like they lacked it completely. Do you think the AirPods are better in audio quality?
Gonna be an instabuy, been waiting for them to release these kinds of earbuds since pretty much almost every brands is taking out the jack besides samsung and LG (not a huge fan of these brands)
Nope
AptX is just a compression method. If you’re using Bluetooth 5, you’ve got more than enough throughput that you don’t need the extra compression.
They work perfectly with my android, they sound better than I expected, battery life is fantastic. They are one of my favorite purchases.
Also because of the battery life and price. And no the chifi don’t sound better, and the mic is terrible. All the cheap ones have been quite bad for making calls with. I’ve tried many cheap ones before I bought airpods
Just FYI these aren’t a competitor to airpods as these are inner ear. Many like myself don’t like inner ear.
They look pretty awesome, obviously don’t compare against airpods as they are not inner air, completely different style. Also haven’t had much luck with cheap ear buds microphones in noisy areas, airpods mean I can have a conversation while walking in a busy street and the recipient can hear me fine. These compare against other inner ear devices like icon x, bose earsport etc. I personally don’t like the look of having a very large device in my ear like these.
Do you have a source on that? I thought that BT 5.0 still needed aptx or similar to obtain a good audio quality 🤔
Yea I just ordered the Qcy tc1 mini from Gearbest and these have bluetooth 5.0, no wire and even Google assistant
Do you have a link? Tcy headphones are cheap and I’d never thought they would have Google assistants hold to talk.
Probably means that they’ll have micro USB or else they would have displayed it 🤔
Would they still be good even if my phone has got only BT4.2?
I just tried to find where I read this, but I think I might have misunderstood.
AptX HD certainly is a compression technique, and it achieve roughly a 4:1 ratio. It has a bitrate of 576 kbit/s, which implies a non-AptX “stream” would be around 2Mbit/s. Coincidentally, that’s the new data rate for BT5 Low Energy devices.
I put the two together and thought that AptX wasn’t needed in BT5, but I guess you could still use it, with a higher bit rate, to achieve higher quality audio.
I believe that would be true. I’ve ordered it and we’ll definitely see after Chinese black Friday..
I wish they came in black and didn’t have the word air in the name.
What would you consider a non generic look be?
Airpods look goofy.
Beware of hearing loss!
Thanks! I’ve been aware my whole life, hence no concerts or loud music.
Why compare wireless to wired?
What are airpods considered? I’ve never really thought about hearing loss/damage with these. So are the airpods a better design for long term hearing?
Where to buy them?
If you are in noisy environments or have bad hearing you would need the inner ear design of earphones or over ear headphones. If you take earhones out of your ear and can hear sounds coming from while out of your ear, it’s too loud and you are causing hearing damage. This goes for any earphone/headphone. More so for the standard earbud design that doesn’t go inside your ear canal. Inner ear canal earbuds don’t fit my ears, and feel extremely uncomfortable so they aren’t an option for me.
I get that it’s subjective and all that, but really? You’re saying a thing that basically amounts to comically oversized earplugs (these) looks better than what is literally the shape of the iconic Earpods except with all of the wires removed (Airpods)[?](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/mobile/000/023/021/e02e5ffb5f980cd8262cf7f0ae00a4a9_press-x-to-doubt-memes-memesuper-la-noire-doubt-meme_419-238.jpg)
QCY is actually one of Xiao Mi’s subsidiary
Thanks for the response – good points above!
For sure.
Airpods sound much better than earpods. Just FYI. Also many of the cheap Chinese earphones have really bad sound quality because they are cheap, nothing to do with wireless etc, but it can make things worse with connection issues between earbuds etc
It’s micro USB I’m afraid
Yeah I feel like punched in the face haha.
But seriously, wasn’t expecting Type C since their entry level phones still have Micro USB.
But still so disappointed. Currently my Headphones are the only non Type C.
Currently my Car, Tablet, Notebook, Phone, Monitor are all Type C.
it’s only got three products though at launch. Obviously currently typing this on my brand new notebook pro in the uk, so obviously it’s very possible to just get them not from the store anyway.
Wait, they have Noise Cancelling? For this price? Or do they mean it’s noise canceling because it’s a plug?
Ah, how nice of them to skip the “phone calls” part in the specs.
where are you getting it for under $25.00?
From chinese store / online shop. 25$ is MSRP. Importers obviously have a premium until they launch globally
Which Chinese online store are you referring to? Even Xiaomi official online store (https://youpin.mi.com/detail?gid=104258) had it for close to $30 excl. shopping
Oh sry. My bad. I’ve calculated in Euro.
