Xiaomi added realistic touch feedback demos in recent MIUI Beta version. This feature is limited to Mi 9 Pro 5G, Redmi K30S Ultra (Mi 10T/Pro), Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 and Mi 11.

Im not a fan of haptic feedback.
I’m curious as well, does the phone vibrates to match the events in the video?
Well then you are lost!

What phone you using? Cause I wasn’t a fan of haptic feedback on budget phones because it felt like i had a mini drill in my phone.
How can I access that feature? I got 10T MIUI Global 12.0.9
cool demo
Already saw a demo from another company, it’s a nice improvement. Phone have different haptic pattern to match action on screen. Long vibration, short, multiple short, etc better than having only one vibration pattern.

If if he write it no one will get hurt. Maybe he will get downvoted, but it’s his opinion and he can write it, but of course, he have to reckon that people will react. There is no reason to deny his comment because no one asked.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I could feel the video on my Poco X3
Is there any projected release date yet for miui 12.5 Global/EU ROM
Shit, i have a normal Mi9T!
Wow
Mi 9T is still a great phone. I have Mi 10T 128/8GB and I would gladly go back to a more compact Mi 9T (that I still keep).
can you control volume on per-app basis on this version?
What exactly is this now?
Mi10 ultra
On redmi note 9s too?
i thought the xiaomi mi 10t is only 6 gb ram?
There are two versions of Mi 10T. With 6GB and 8GB of RAM. Both have 128GB of internal memory.

Mi 10 Lite? Does anyone know if it is supported?
This is Mi 9 Pro, not Mi 9T Pro. 9T is a great phone, but the vibration motor in it (both normal and Pro) is total crap, something like this would make no sense.
One of the first things I noticed when I upgraded to Poco F2 is how great the vibration motor is compared to 9T, and even that is pretty bad compared to modern flagships.
it’s propably gonna get added to more phones, i can’t believe they wouldn’t add this to mi 10 ultra or mi 9t pro or even poco f2 pro
Well, yeah, Xiaomi was proud enough of the Z-Axis linear motor in their recent Poco offering to make it a selling point.
And, yes, in its current state it’s still total crap compared to other modern flagships.
I’m wondering why this feature isn’t brought to the Poco line, though. What additional hardware component would be required here that the Poco line is missing?
No mi 9 again….fuck
No Mi 9T Pro?
Well if you’ve ever used an iPhone or a newer Samsung (or even a newer Xiaomi as well) you’d realize why. Mi 9 line-up doesn’t have a Z-axis linear motor so it’s actually pretty bad. If you can hear the vibration along with feeling it, it ain’t good. I literally feel like the phone (also Mi 9T Pro) is going to fall apart if I set it to medium or high whenever it vibrates (long press and recents gesture for example).
It’s personal preference. As I said, vibration motor on 9T is utter crap, so the feeling isn’t that great, but even on a 9T I preferred to have some feedback when typing. And of course, I wanted to know about my notifications.
With a good vibration motor it’s actually pretty nice, if you ever used a 2015+ MacBook or an iPhone 7+, touchpad or home button clicks really feel like clicks, even though it’s just a vibration. On Android nothing comes close to Apple’s Haptic Engine, but it’s still a good experience.
How does it know which event is in the video?
And here I am crying because Xiaomi just removed system accent colours from the Dev Settings on A11
i wish mi10t had at least half good haptics as iphone does.
Pure guess but maybe it scans the audio and anything under certain frequency is converted into vibrations
It looks like apple’s taptic engine.
will not be for him MI CC9/Mi note 10?
Omg image playing something earrape
Yup, it was. I use the neglected kid from Xiaomi, the Mi A3. Maybe it was due to the stock rom, assuming you use miui
thanks for info.
im asking cause im planning to buy this phone… i had this feature on my mi mix 2s (in beta miui) but this feature isnt included in stable rom and beta is discontinued by now 🙁
And yet they managed fo fuck up the latest global bios for ooco f2 pro
My Redmi Note 7 doesn’t have a good motor…. I guess I’m gonna save up for a Mi 11.
Mi 11 got an extra vibrator on the top of the phone, should bring this experience to a totally different level

so im using redmi note 9 pro 5g with mi 10t lite ROM, will these features still be a thing?
Mi 10 Pro or Mi 10
I do not remember… it was some beta build based on china version of miui (from [xiaomi.eu](https://xiaomi.eu)). i’m sure it wasn’t last released beta… it was second or third beta after they confirmed they are planning to stop releasing beta for mix 2s. (i think this build was delayed a bit)
in my browser history i found this article that was published [June 29, 2020](https://www.xda-developers.com/miui-12-sound-assistant-control-media-volume-multiple-apps/) (so i guess sometime around end of june )
Thanks for info. I will wait till they announce price of mi 10 sd 870 version
Sad noise from my Poco F2 Pro
