I have been trying to figure out what is happening but when on a call the screen stays on when i put the phone to my face instead of turning off . As a result random buttons get pushed. I’ve checked every setting but can’t figure out how to make it work.
Also, how can we set up trusted devices? Like all the other android phones I’ve had I’d like the phone to remain unlocked when I am in the car and connected to it’s Bluetooth. Seems to be missing from the HyperOS settings.
Thanks
Following this. I’ll have a 15 Ultra soon and will let you know if I have the same problem
1. About the screen on during calls, I don’t have that issue with my 15 Ultra. Even before it gets to my head it goes dark, and then turns back on as I pull it away. It should be based on proximity sensors right, but at the same time it’s hard to see if there are any around the front camera. Could be in the earpiece. No setting for it on my end either.
2. Xiaomi’s trusted devices is weirdly different in that it only works with Xiaomi products like their watches and bands. Have yet to find an option or way to make it work with my 2019 Huawei Watch GT. The setting is under “Fingerprints, Face Data and Screen Unlock” -> “Unlock with Bluetooth Device”.
Thanks. They made some weird choices. I had high hopes coming from S24U but I’ll be honest , hyperos is lacking . There was a video I saw that summarizes everything really well… I’ll find it
OneUI has been more feature rich than MiUI or HyperOS for a while so honestly I’m not surprised. I came from an Huawei that wasn’t updated past Android 10 on EMUI 11, which was all sorts of quirky so I haven’t been too bothered with HyperOS. It’s a bit weird, and few bugs but goodness is it insanely smooth and quick to navigate.
Pretty sure I know what video you may be referring to since I’ve been watching them all lol. I’m still quite happy with my phone. If the Vivo X200 Ultra got a global release, the story would have been different perhaps.
