Hello everybody. Regrettably i kept this Phone. Let’s talk about some issues. Does anybody else have a constant static noise in their Video when filmed in 4k, especially noticeable when you film somewhere silent. In my experience it is definitely less pronounced in 1080 albeit still present. I haven’t tried every Mode yet. Please Tell me If you have the Same experience with your device or if mine is defective in that regard. For comparison i have tested with my Brother’s S24Ultra and with that Phone there is just the usual, barely noticeable background static noise, so this ist definitely NOT normal. Every Feedback ist greatly appreciated.

Check the settings for noise cancellation.
Try setting that to off and then record.
Sometimes the software makes weird choices about the sound settings.
Tried that already. Made absolutely Zero difference

I have exactly the same problem with my X15U in all videos with 60 fps (1080p,4K) but not with 30 or 120 fps or less. For me it’s not normal. I have had the same problem with my X14U and get another one without this problem. For me, we have defective units.
It’s not the problem, i have it too, no setting will remove this background noise. On mine, it’s very loud with 60 fps strangely…
Hello and thank you for your comment. So this Same Thing happened to you with the X14U? And you got a replacement that didn’t have this issue? Am i understanding this right?
Yes the last X14U replaced was good except some cosmetic defect on the ring.
On the X14U the noise was present in all videos and more loud than my actual X15U.
My X15U (global white version) has this noise a lot with 60 fps (4K/60 for example).
It is the second x15U, the first has defective 5G connection after only 7 days. I know someone that has 5g dead after one month ! A lot of issue on this X15U as the X14U. I got 3 X14U before getting a good one ! And i have also a dust point inside lens glass (in black area). The box of the phone was also deformed and it rattles a lot in video.
Please send a video where we can hear the issue.
the camera makes noise while recording, u can hear it if you bring the phone to your ear in a quite area
Dont need to Bring the speaker to my ears it’s really noticeable
no i don’t mean inside the video, i mean the camera itself while you are recording makes noise if you get what i mean and i assume this is why its appearing in the video
Thank you very much for clarifying. Very much appreciated. Maybe i will try to get mine replaced too then as it has this issue and also the very excessive rattling. Can you tell me what the current Status is with your current X15U will you try to get a replacement again?
Ahh i know exactly what you mean. You are talking about the Camera’s OIS interfering with the top speaker. Yet another issue with this Phone because of lazy/bad engineering. I don’t think that that is the source of this Problem but yet another issue with this phone. But i will try and investigate this further. Thank you very much for your comments on this matter
yeah exactly and i believe its most likely the cause for the noise, i havent explored the camera much but if u can try to disable the stabilization and see how it works

No no my friend. This is not the source of the original but is an additional noise. Stabilisation can’t be disabled
It was very difficult to get a new replacement because they have refused 2 times. I have to fight with customer service : as the box was deformed, they want a receipt of delivery signed but i haven’t as it was the box inside the package that was damaged. But finally the direction accept only a refund not a replacement as there is no stock… Very strange… I’m waiting the shipping label to return the phone. My price was very good during preorder and with bonus trade-in. With a refund, i will lose this price…

Honestly If i were to buy a new Phone again it would be the S25Ultra. It’s sad that Samsung is using outdated Hardware in that Phone but at least everything works and it is a thoroughly well designed/engineered and well manufactured device. Dont get me wrong i actually really Like the X15 Ultra, it takes absolutely stunning Pictures No comparison to Samsung but i wouldn’t ever gamble with a Chinese manufacturer again after this experience with this many issues
Yes but last year I have tried samsung s24u, a nightmare: i have 13 units, all were defective : the display, scratches on frame, dust in lens, bad photos with noise… A nightmare!😳

I have tried all. My results are :
– 1080,4k at 30 or 120 frames per second = no noise
– 1080, 4k at 60, always background noise
Even with stabilization off in pro mode.
I don’t understand why the speed of 60 frames per second makes this noise !
