HAHA..
Take it easy 😂 it’s only an Ad
… from a system app
Is your region set to India?
Yes
Then it only happens on India region, when I used European country as a region notifications like this didn’t appear
Why the hell are system apps pushing ads wtf
i recomment swiss, no ads and you get themes
On mix 2s you don’t get face unlock, though
Have you tryed usa?
That’s why you set your region to something European.
Not working
Taiwan has face unlock. No ads.
Pocophone ad 1
This is why I prefer pure Android. MIUI is way too intrusive. Even better are Nokia phones since the latest Android One phones from Xiaomi seems to also have these kind of ads
What. There are no Android One phones from Xiaomi with Ads.
I own both A1 as well as A2.
Also, Nokia doesn’t let you unlock bootloader’s and doesn’t deliver on OTAs as well as is overpriced compared to Xiaomi or Honor.
Why haven’t you flashed it yet?
Nokia OTA record is the best. Regarding A2, I am not entirely sure either but I had read about the latest Android One phones post Mi A1 also have some kind of intrusive behaviour, though not as bad as the MIUI phones but Xiaomi is still tinkering with the Android One phones to recover the costs (or make money) of selling the phones at low margins by having adds in the phone through some manner.
Where to find the debloat app?
Would xiaomi home still work?
I just don’t see that, because I’ve disabled every MI service?
Afaik the Nokia 8 still doesn’t have Pie as well as the more budget Variants.
And what kind of “intrusive behaviour” in both cases ?
Are you just making up things or actually have examples / sources ?
> Xiaomi is still tinkering with the Android One phones to recover the costs (or make money) of selling the phones at low margins by having adds in the phone through some manner.
And no. Just like any other Android One, Xiaomi doesn’t do anything else that brings them money. Only thing they change is the Camera App, like anyone else, and the Feedback App which can be disabled.
And Android One phones don’t have ads as well as MIUI phones in most countries.
I have an A2 and a few of my friends own an A1. There are no ads anywhere in the UI. There are just 4 pre-installed apps, apart from the Google apps. You can remove the Xiaomi apps if you wish to do so. Moreover Xiaomi has improved OTA updates. Sometimes the monthly security updates drop within the same day as the Pixel security updates.
Not op but I don’t feel like flashing mine because I don’t feel like wiping all the data on it.

Like I said earlier I am not totally sure about Android One phones. As far as MIUI is concerned then there’s no doubt about Android One being a lot better than MIUI
Yeah thanks for the useless articles.
This doesn’t prove any of your claims.
As I already said myself, there are ads in some countries.
And no, there aren’t any on the Android one phones as well as no other instructive behavior. Just all the Android Pie misimprovements like on any other Stock Pie phone.
Also regarding to the last comment, MIUI at least still let’s you change all volume sounds, let’s you change WiFi and Bluetooth in the Quicksettings, as well as shows more than 1½ Apps in Multitasking.
There is always more than one perspective and neither is perfect
I never saw any ads on my A2 Lite
Xiaomi.eu ROMs are great generally
I tried it but google apps doesn’t work properly and home screen search is baidu. I hate baidu
I recommend miui.eu
Why was I trying to press yes on my note 5? Damn
That’s weird. I’m running eu ROMs on my whyred and Mi3. Google apps work just fine. Don’t know about baidu though, I’ve removed some bloat so that may have changed some stuff
the sucky part of owning a poco.. MIUI and its bugs bloatware ads and aesthetics
Oh you removed the bloat? How do you do it? I found out that an app called ‘search app’ was responsible for the baidu engine but I couldn’t remove it. I became frustrated and went back to global stable
There’s a debloating tool in this sub’s wiki, works great. Or you can use a root explorer (Solid Explorer works just fine) but that’ll require root.
Mostly the same. 8 hours easily with 4G always on.
