Hi!
I’m wondering: Will I remove void the warranty if I remove the sticker?

I would highly recommend not removing the sticker!
It would void the warranty, right. Or it will leave a sticky mark.
No it won’t void your warranty. Just keep it in a safe place like the original phone box just in case. It’s best to remove it, after a while it would start to leave residue and scratches if the back is made of plastic.
Oh. Thank you!
You can remove it. ,your warranty will not be accepted if you only unlock the bootloader?
I’m sure that’s not how it’s supposed to hold the device
What do you mean by that? I have the case on, but when I clean the body NOT THE CASE the sticker gets a bit wet and it leaves the surface greasy. Glue + wet paper.
I’m not unlocking it.
You will only lose your warranty ,if you unblock the bootloader. Don’t be silly with this sticker… Please
I ain’t spending that much money on a phone again. I prefer to ask, than trying to figure out how to pay the bills at the end of the month.
And still have some money for food.
Peel the sticker off and stick it somewhere inside the box
Already did that! Thank you!
You can block it again whenever you want if you need to process the warranty.
Not tru
Did you ever try this?
You only lose the warranty if you unlock bootloader
Yes true
No. The only Redmi was a Redmi 9 which didn’t have a sticker.
I believe it would void the warranty. Best not to remove the sticker my friend
How sticker actually has to do with warranty ? Remove sticker as it will leave glue residue which will be near impossible to remove in future.
I mean of course it shouldn’t void the warranty
Ok. Thank you!
Did you use mi flash or change roms for EU to CN or Mi? Did you try to flash it?
Do you know that mi flash have options to lock the bootloader, so , you can not loose warranty.
Did you flash custom roms?
Or just writing in useful things
I worked for 3 years repairing cell phones, both software and hardware, I don’t consider myself an expert but I’ll only discuss all of this with a single comment, do you know what it’s called? flash_all_and_lock.bat
And you? Just writing useful things or giving opinions without knowing about the subject?
Greetings from my custom rom Xiaomi.eu
