I just got a Xiaomi 12 and I am loving it so far but the notification sounds are setting me off.

I chose a sound for all notifications and the preview is very quiet (what I want) and all my volume sliders are at the minimum but when I get a message the sound is jumpscary loud and I can’t figure out why.

Phone is up to date. I just turned off dolby atmos (could this be a reason?) but I haven’t gotten a message yet to test if this changes anything.

I couldn’t find anything helpful online and I am struggling for an hour now 🙁
