In May 2025, im thinking to buy REDMI NOTE 13 PRO PLUS 5G at INR 22800. ShoulD I buy it ?????Please tell…
Depends on the price
It’s 22800 indian rupees. Should I go for it
Emphatic no. If your budget can increase go for poco x7 pro or choose other brand like motorola having better phone in that price bracket.
As the other guy said
Yeah.
So should I go towards POCO F6 5G for INR 23000??
Should I go for poco f6 5g for inr 23000
Ok sure proper phone however it will have lesser number of software updates. It has snapdragon processor which is good.
NO, look for another alternative I have a Redmi note 13 pro 5g and I don’t like it besides the storage upgrade it’s bad in every area (at least in my option) compared to s22 fe
Im not as such gamer and wanted a good camera quality in range of around 23k which is matching in Redmi 13 pro plus.
One drawback is that I will receive OS updates till android 16.
Any other more reasons why I shouldn’t but redmi Note 13 pro plus?
Any other phone with good camera quality in 22k-23k???
Camera quality difficult in this price segment. They just provide camera it’s sake. Poco f6 atleast better still if you can get any schemes or discount try for x7 pro or go for other brands.
Okk, but can u tell me some drawbacks of redmi note 13 pro..
.
I went with a note 12 pro+ 5g in 2025 because it still has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.😅 Unfortunately I always have issues with under the screen readers.
No big drawbacks it’s midrange phone which is season old. If you need Redmi than go for note 14 pro. I personally don’t think should buy older phones because software updates and support will be less.
He asked about pro plus, not the pro 5G version. Also, the redmi note 13 pro 5G as a phone is pretty good. Great camera, good performance great screen (for the price obv). The only problem is HyperOS 2 bugs that are known for specific models (like 13 pro 5G, poco x6, x6 pro etc) which until now are not fixed.
I’m genuinely happy for you if you have a great camera with this phone, I lost hope in getting a good picture.
For normal pictures I guess it’s fine (some panoramic view…) the details aren’t that great (myb my fault because I should do something with settings) and when I say great I’m not comparing with the crazy priced flagships.
I also use it very frequently for capturing course slides in uni or scanning some docs and 6-7 out of 10 pics are blurry and sometimes I struggle even with the focus, and this problem is even more worst on WhatsApp camera
And for the bugs you were talking about I honestly didn’t dive through this subject very deep because I mainly use my phone for taking pictures and streaming, the only “bugs” that I experience a lot is the phone sometimes crashed (idk if it’s the right word to describe) or while I’m using it the screen goes black and it takes a while to get back to where I was (the phone is not hot)
But as I said I don’t mind this few things because it’s not that frequent compared to my problem with the camera
The bugs I’m referring to are some lags when dragging down the control center, increasing/decreasing the volume. These bugs are not always there, but sometimes they show up and it’s annoying. After some research however, I found out that a lot of people have this problem and is considered a bug that will be getting fixed probably in next update. I would think that this happens because 13 pro is a midrange phone and some lags are expected, but this started happening only after the HyperOS 2 update.
Regarding the cam, don’t get me wrong, it’s obviously a mid cam since the phone costs only 250-300 euro. You can get some respectable everyday photos, however it had some washed out look in some instances. Since I’m no expert, I just downloaded Gcam with a config for my specific model. Basically, the problem is the cam software and with Gcam you can see a BIG difference. [Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperOS/comments/1hhpl09/redmi_note_13_pro_5g_gcam/)’s a post I made some time ago with the comparison.
Thank you so much for the explanation, while I did notice the bugs you’re talking about it didn’t bother me that much as much as I said the camera and I recently noticed the upper speaker shutting in the middle of videos
Just to be a bit more precise about my camera problem, it’s not and any shape or form bad, and as you said the problem must be the software because the good pictures are crispier that the Samsung I was comparing them withz it annoys me with the fact that whatever I taking picture of the center is clear and the periphery zone? Gets blurry, it’s a good type of pictures for a specific setting but usually it’s bad
But as you said, it’s indeed a mid range phone and I was expecting a bit more
And I will certainly check the tips about the cam so thank you so much

Find out how much it costs in 14, because I didn’t wait I bought it last December and today the 14 pro + is at the same price that I paid for the 13 pro +
14 pro plus has a circle camera module which is WORST

But you gave 0 information on what you currently have, what’s your budget, what do you want your phone to do, ect…

And…does the redmi Note 13 pro plus have a heating or OS issue???
I have the 13 pro plus, it doesn’t have any of those problems that you mention, it runs smoothly, the camera is very good, even in low light, it takes super clear photos, I bought it last December and today the note 14 pro plus costs the same as what I paid for the 13 pro plus
