I have it, I would agree that the skin tones are terrible. It’s really goated for landscape shots though. For portraits you should buy oppo, it blows the vivo and xiaomi out of the water

I had a 14 Ultra and my last one was a Poco F3, the series ultra are good, of course there are some things to improve but right now after one year having my 14 Ultra I would give a try to the Vivo 200x Ultra, looks awesome and has too many good reviews.
Buy 15 ultra from your region because skin tones are adjusted according to your region. Living europe and buying chinese versions then you will get skin tones as per chinese skin and then people complain about skin tones. Xiaomi 14 Indian version skin tones are perfect.
Personally I love it and the skin tones are beautiful (EU)

-the battery lasts me around 8 hours at home from 100%-20% but when I’m at school or go somewhere it lasts less than 5 hours
-the camera while it’s good it has a small focus center which I think is because of the big sensor, so I never use the 1x but rather move back and use the 3x zoom to get everything in focus. (Might be a skill issue by me)
-the camera also is very bad and zooms only to 10x in apps like Snapchat, Instagram and more.
-it has some weird issues where the screen sometimes glitches and just shows some pixels, idk how to describe it. Also once when I opened the gallery everything was gone for like an hour then appeared back?? Idk what happened.
-it you record a video and zoom out or in and it switches lenses it’s very noticeable and bad.
-wifi issues.
-some things crash the phone. If you click on the premium thing in Snapchat it sometimes just crashes everything.

I have the 15 U and i’m super stratified with it, don’t know why some people have such problems with it.
Battery lost from evening to morning in standby was something like 5%.battery usage the whole day with setting everything up and adjusting an taking a lot of test photos was also just like 30%. Overall battery last me 2-3 Days depending on usage( 80% load to 20% load) Skins tones an photo quality overall are very good (EU Version).
Everything is stable and runs super smooth.
I went to my lokal electric market, so I could test the pixel 9pro/XL, s25 ultra, Honor M7P and some other phones, for me the winner was the 15U, very very close was the s25U, got the better price for 15U so went with it.

I saw it on sale for 850 and wanted to buy it but my previous experience with Xiaomi is not so good (especially software and bloatware) so i decided against it. Specs seem amazing but such a shame its not good optimized

It’s not available in my country or it’s very overpriced (1700-2000€) so I didn’t even bother considering it. And I don’t order phones online cause I don’t feel comfortable with buying such expensive or important tech online

Great phone, no issues. Great camera, good battery, fast and fluid skin with lots of customization.
No issues with mine. There is lots of false trolling, probably Vivo or Oppo bots. Camera issues are usually user error.
The telezoom is insane ! And the “super macro mode” is a blessing

Skin tone will suit white Europeans. When taking pictures of people from other continents, they will be darker and tanned. In addition, there are weaknesses such as poor operating system optimization, playing games is quite hot and personal opinion is that operating system updates are a bit rare.
