i have followed all the steps to unlock bootloader but when I connect my phone to pc to mi unlock tool in fastboot mode it’s showing not connected to the phone please help

You should reinstall ADB and drivers for your device[toutrial](https://youtu.be/pUAblsw2JgU)
had this same issue.
do not ever use a usb 3.0 port.
try different ports.
try different cables.
try reinstalling the drivers and/or unlock tool
if none of these works
use a different pc (thats how i got it)
Well, just put the Mi Unlock tool folder to the “C” drive and than give it a try. It should detect.
