Hey everyone,
I really need some help from this awesome community. Here’s my situation:
I bought a **Redmi 7A** from Flipkart a while back, but it turns out the seller sent me a **Chinese variant** of the device, flashed with a **Global ROM** (miui global for international users). I **forced an OTA update**.
After updating, the device went into a **bootloop** due to a **version mismatch** (Chinese variant + Global OTA). The worst part? The **bootloader is locked**, and now I can’t flash anything — not via Fastboot, MiFlash Tool, or even EDL Mode.
Tried unlocking the bootloader via official Xiaomi Unlock Tool, but it gives me this error:
**“The place where the account is registered does not match the place where the phone is sold.”**
After hours of research, I found this article by a GitHub dev who created a tool that can **instantly unlock** the bootloader — but it requires logging in with a **Chinese-region Xiaomi account** (accounts with +91, +62, +1 numbers are NOT accepted).
🔗 Here’s the article I’m talking about:

**What I Need:**
If anyone here:
* Has a **Chinese Xiaomi account**, or
* Has access to a **temporary +86 / China number** or **any valid number (excluding these** \+91, +62, +1 numbers**)** that can receive verification SMS …and would be willing to help me just get through this step, **I’d be super grateful**.
You can DM me, or drop a comment. I just want to unlock the bootloader and recover the phone.
