My redmi note 13 pro+ system updater stops working/doesn’t open when i tap the update button

I bought the note 13 about a week ago and it has an update available right now, I’m currently on MIUI 14.0.3 . When i tap the update button it just closes and a popup saying the updater keeps stopping appears. Are there any fixes i can try?
