Mic hole punctured? 13T

I recently bought the 13T, while inserting the Sim card I accidentally put the Sim tool inside of the microphone hole. When I’m talking to people on the phone they say my voice sounds distorted.
Is it possible that I damaged my microphone? Or is the mic from the 13t just not that good.
