\*\*My dear Friends:\*\*I’m gonna start by saying that i’m no mod at all, and that this thread might not care to a bunch of you.

But i would like to give you some information regarding things i know to help you stop creating unneccesary threads. (Just because you can post it doesn’t mean Xiaomi’s CEO is going to read it)So, withouth further ado, let’s get started:

Let’s start by mentioning a bunch of devices that are already receiving MIUI 11 Updates: Redmi Note 5, redmi 5 plus, redmi note 7, note 7 pro, redmi 8, redmi 8A Pocophone F1,MI 6, MI 8, MI 8 pro, MI 9, MI 9 SE, MI 9 Lite “MI ROM” (thanks u/michaelbelgium) MI 9 T (K20), MI 9T pro “EU ROM” (K20 pro), redmi Y3, MIX 2 “MI ROM” (thanks u/JohnConstantine1) MIX 2 S “MI ROM” (thanks u/cmosfxx) ,MIX 3 (If there’s missing, help me know)

1. If you’re gonna share with us, how excited you are about Your Update (Might do it soon as well), Please inform The MIUI Version of it, That you bought it in France or you are in Italy, Doesn’t change the most important fact that is The Miui Version, There are Differents types of Global (MI: Global rest of world; EU: European Region; IN: India Region; CN: China ROM) So, even if your region of the device it’s Brasil and you bought it on USA it doesn’t matter, you could be Using EU ROM. You can find this in Settings > About Phone > MIUI Version. Example “QFK**EU**XM”

2. Please don’t ask WHEN is your device going to update because NO ONE here knows. I’ll suggest for you to take as an example the official India Schedule, but that doesn’t mean you’ll get it between those dates, it could even pass the deadline that you might get it weeks later, We understand your concern, but there’s no one that could give you a proper answer, please go search [en.miui.com](https://en.miui.com) to wach global Dates (Yes, I know Phase 2 and 3 doesn’t have dates) that’s why i told you to take the official india schedule as a reference. and [miui.com](https://miui.com) to watch china rom schedules (These both are at bottom of the website) **^(Posting “Why my phone doesn’t get the update”)** won’t make it magically appear.

3. Only devices getting Android 10 with MIUI 11 are MI 9 and MI 9T PRO (K20 PRO), this doesn’t mean that other devices won’t get it on future updates, but you will have to wait since nobody here knows about updates schedules. Regarding Global dark mode, and other features, I THINK, and I repeat, I THINK, global dark mode should be available only in Android 10 devices, **instead thanks to (u/1031991) I saw that DARK MODE IT’S NOT AVAILABLE ON MIUI 11 ANDROID 10 EU ROM**, We will see on MI ROM … …. Thanks for your apport!! as well as there is no app drawer, as well as ultra battery saver… that might be why you don’t see it. and other features like Dynamic font we won’t see it because it is ONLY CHINA rom feature. (If it useful, i tried MiLan Pro, and the spaces it has it’s awful)

4. Changing region or updating apps from system, won’t make your Update appear. it is just pure coincidence.

5. This one is very important: If you find and Issue on the update, or Something is really wrong for you with your device, or something Bothers you (I won’t say you are not allowed to post it here because I’m nobody). But, I would kindly suggest you to go to Settings > About Phone > Hit the three dots (…) > More > Feedback. And tell first the developers what concerns you. and then, Before posting it in here, try to google if you are not the first one experiencing the issue, Like for example “Can’t find Screen on time + MIUI 11” or something. It is probably you could save some time by finding the solution already rather than wait maybe half hour for someone to respond, because let me tell you something, Sometimes I know the answer to some things, but I’d rather let it go and somebody else to answer it because I’m tired of repeatedly posts.

6. For those who ask the question regarding changing roms, or updating them, or even using custom ROMS, i will suggest everyone to download the app of XDA Developers, after you installed it, click on the menu and select “My device” there, you should find a section called “GUIDES, NEWS, DISCUSSION” and from there, what you’re doing, is going to a completely different forum, nothing like reddit, where you can’t find every single guide for your device, from how to unlock it all the way through differents types of flashing, so I will recommend this app if you wanna change from EU to MI or to CN ROM for example… because this really is different for every single device, I won’t go any further explanation about how to it, but XDA developers community will help you.
