Hey all, I recently got a Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with a smart pen and smart keyboard as a more robust alternative for the iPad because I absolutely hated the Apple interface especially with respect to schoolwork haha. It works like a dream and is pretty slick so far, but one small issue I have is with regard to the smart keyboard.
It’s a bit strange, but the left shift key isn’t working for a single letter, the letter ‘T’, meaning I have to use the right shift key to capitalize that letter. On their own, the left shift key and the ‘T’ key work just fine, but for some reason when using them together I just can’t get it to work.
I can’t tell if this is an issue with firmware or hardware (though, given the keys work fine on their own, I doubt it’s a hardware issue), but I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this before, and if there’s any available fix for it! The keyboard works great otherwise, and this issue can be circumvented with a bit of muscle memory and forcing myself to use the right shift key, but I just wanted to know if this is an issue that can be fixed. Thanks so much if you’re reading this!
