God yeah it’s annoying. Especially when it appears two days after I’ve downloaded the file aha
Good if there is really a way to disable that. The notification pops up every few days for the same file.
I dont know what the fucking reason is but it’s pretty annoying.

You can shut down all the notifications from the download app by long pressing the notification when it appears and disabling the option “show notifications” .

You can delete the file which you downloaded and it will stop.. Worked for me in redmi note 5 plus! 😂
It seems there is no more these annoying notifications in last dev ROMs (Xiaomi.eu). It should be ported to stable ROMs soon

I got used to it. That’s how I know that my phone still works and that my files are still there, when that shit I’ve download about a month ago it’s still there.
I like to think that this app keeps my files safe.

I just removed that app using debloat tool. And that annoying message stopped. That stupid app showed notification for something i downloaded a week ago.
I moved the file to another location and still it notified about the same file existing on original location.
Delete, not move! I know you want the file not deleted, but I had not figured something else 😭
Even Xiaomi itself doesn’t know how to disable it probably!

The only way I have found is to go into downloads and view the download in there.
It is annoying and pointless, but stops the pop up coming back.
Other than that, no idea
I tried deleting and it showed the same. Although it was few months back. I removed that app. So don’t know how it is right now.
