I re-installed pixel experience after testing out mi 9t. It has booted with my old password and won’t let me in? Any ideas?

Common issue. Flash passreset.zip. I have the passreset zip for Mi 9T pro not sure if it is same for Mi 9T.
I have got it from the @redmik20proglobalofficial telegram group.
Format Data
Did you format data before flashing pixel experience? You can always clean flash and try again after formatting data
Thanks so much, saved me a lot of worrying. It’s on androidfilehost dot com if anyone else has the same problem.
Can I have that wallpaper?
It’s a pixel wallpaper, search on XDA for it
Wow how is the pixel experience? I really like the pixel’s android style. Should i try it? If i try do i need to root my device? or is it effecting to phone’s warranty?
Pretty good
As far as I know Xiaomi devices’ warranty doesnt expire when you flash a rom or root it
One of the best roms out there for sure, try it out, you can go back to miui if you don’t like it. I’ve been using it as a daily rom for 3 months and haven’t seen any ground breaking bugs so far
I’ve now been using Pixel Experience for about 5 years, it’s the perfect daily ROM. Many others are cool, but that stock, clean feeling PE gives is unmatched. Everything is perfect
Have you tried to encrypt your phone on pixel? I wasn’t able
Did you remove lockscreen protection before flashing?
My working hypothesis is that a lockscreen password/etc causes encryption when flashing.
If you have TWRP recovery installed you can remove pin/password or pattern on your lockscreen.
In TWRP recovery go to:
File manager
/data/system
Scroll down to the bottom and delete:
locksettings.db
locksettings.db-shm
locksettings.db-wal
gatekeeper.password.key
gatekeeper.pattern.key
Depending on what your security lock is!
I wish I could understand every word you said lol.
Edit: ok I googled it. Thanks!
Pixel wallpaper – Google releases their phones (Pixel) with custom ROM and custom wallpapers – that’s one of them

I also have more time now so enjoy the direct link https://www.xda-developers.com/download-google-pixel-4-live-wallpapers-port/
Thanks Goodness you find a solution to that problem, but I have a question: How’s the Pixel Experience? I mean is it worth it to flash than normal MIUI?
you don’t root your phone, you just unlock bootloader so you still get updates even if you don’t flash a rom, when you flash the rom and start it for the first time it’ll ask you for your Gmail account and ask you if you want it to install a backup of your data like all your apps, messages, photos, phone numbers etc.
yes, very worth it, stock Android feels so good it doesn’t compare to miui, Zero bloatware, so no useless apps, and it’s really snappy. Battery life is better because there’s no random apps running in the background. give it a try, you can always go back if you don’t like it
Thank you for sharing your experience. Tho, I’m just start playing MIUI like more than a month and so far so good for me. Maybe if I get bored on MIUI I will flash a custom ROM on my device.
To root your phone, you need to unlock the bootloader with an official Xiaomi program on PC (not sure if there are better ways than this), which may take from 72 to 720 or more hours, depending on the age of the phone. Then you install custom recovery (TWRP) and flash your custom firmware through recovery, according to the instructions. If you flash it from TWRP, only files like installed apps with their data would be wiped, and photos, music, videos and other files in various folders will remain, which is very useful.
Flashing to Pixel Experience on Android 10 is a bit more tedious, but it’s totally worth it. Essentially you will need to first wipe Data and other things you need to wipe to install the firmware, and then you need to back up your internal storage and take your entire backup folder to an SD card or your PC. After you do that, you need to format the phone entirely through TWRP (where it needs you to type “yes”). Once it’s done, install the Android 10 Pixel Experience .zip from SD card or PC (once you upload it back on your phone via USB), and when it’s done, restore your Internal Storage backup file. Reboot your phone and have fun using Android 10.
After you change your ROM, you can only download your apps back and restore app data from cloud. But you can make a backup of your Data and other system stuff to go back to your previous firmware with all your apps and app data if the firmware is bad.
You don’t need to root your device, but you do need to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP on the phone. I use it on my Redmi 4X Pro from 2017 (budget $130 phone on release), which is widely considered to be one of the greatest phones Xiaomi has ever produced, and it runs like butter. Not only did it boost my internal storage’s speed substantially, but it also boots faster than MIUI (Android 7-based on Redmi 4X) or Android 8 or 7. There is zero lag, even though there are tons of very useful features that are supposed to slow down your phone either way.
I’ve already written about how to flash to Android 10 Pixel Experience – “Flashing to Pixel Experience on Android 10 is a bit more tedious, but it’s totally worth it. Essentially you will need to first wipe Data and other things you need to wipe to install the firmware, and then you need to back up your internal storage (your photos, videos and other misc. folders that aren’t system stuff) and take your entire backup folder to an SD card or your PC. Reboot your phone and have fun using Android 10.”
If you don’t mind the look and feel of miui, I wouldn’t say it’s worth it. Myself I love stock Android looks so I changed it.
Thanks!
Fixed it by using camera button shortcut, tap-tapping power for +-5times, and entering gallery with pin. I successfully unlocked but cannot go to homescreen
I haven’t tried homescreen for sure. sorry for my mistype. I experienced this when downgrading because of bootloops.
