So basically I have an old redmi Y2 (or S2)
It had my uncle’s Xiaomi account in it and I was too small to be bothered by it at that time but recently I needed the phone and I logged out of his account hoping to make my own account but it required the password. He doesn’t remember it and I’m stuck in this screen where it just says:

This device is locked
This device is associated with an existing MI account for security reasons. You need to enter password to verify the device.

[Activate this device]
[Open WiFi settings]

Unlock code: (some numbers and characters)

Plz help
