This was a thing that happened before. It’s been going on for a few weeks and today it was permanently stuck on loop, we tried everything, safe mode, turning the phone down etc. Eventually we had to factory wipe and delete all data.

We were able to set up the phone but now it can’t use cellular network at all. It shows like there is no connection. We thought something happened to his SIM card so we also tried it mine, it asked for my PIN code and then the result was the same: cellular network was not available.

I have to add the phone is also rooted.

I asked what could cause this behavior and if he did any major changes or installed any new apps. Looks like there wasn’t anything different.
