Does anyone has Mi SMart Clock Duo calls working!?

I recently purchased Mi smart clock there is just one thing I could not have it working the Duo calls it keeps on saying try again and on my phone its says link your duo to the smart clock but I already did and tried some basics unlink account unplug and replug link account again nothing seems working… anyone? TIA
