Do someone know how to turn on this feature? It was planed for MIUI 12 and even with Android 11 i haven’t see it

That feature is only available for the MIUI 12 in China or eu rom but with the MIUI 13 Global coming soon i expect to receive this feature
There’s no way to get it with a third party app or something else?

They are testing something in Chinese rom so far.
I think it’s related to improvement of security center. Anyway, a12 have those so I think they will add those for all devices running miui 13.

I usually update my system apps (xiaomi apps) from apkmirror site, so may be it’s just been added with an app i updated.

They lie a lot. Removed split screen feature in some phones using MiUi Global 12.5.1. It was extremely useful for online classes.
During the preview the lied that only 9 mandatory apps will be in 12.5.1 out of the box and rest could be uninstalled or removed. They lied as the latest update still has “Get Apps” that cannot be removed or uninstalled

Xiaomi are big liars . it sucks that they removed split screen on my redmi note 9 with android 11 update at least i don’t have to deal with « get apps » and ads everywhere as i am in europe and have the « eea » version with don’t have most of those ads, only in the cleaner app.
Maybe because this is the most optimal design to have in a software? And you say “those Chinese companies” but Google made the samething

Even I don’t see any ads because I know how to turn off notifications but most people don’t. I really like Europe’s attitude towards these tech companies.

As many already said, this option is only in the China and EU version. However as some mentioned that they have it in the global version probably by updating apps through apkmirror. So as a theory, I’m pretty sure that the app that contains this functionality is Mi Security. I can’t confirm it because this app is important for the system so I’m afraid to update. Can anyone confirm this?
If updating Mi Security allow us to have those pop-up i’m update it frame one

Like I said I just disable the notifications. And I don’t have a laptop to do this. Plus it won’t bring back split screen
Did they really remove split screen? I thought they removed it but I think they only hid it. Before you need to long press on an app on the recent app screens but now you have to set a gesture for it. Search for Button Shortcuts in Settings and you can set one for split screen.
They removed it completely in 12.5.1 global MiUi. Atleast in low end phones
