Click the 3 dots and the update will appear (It worked for me)
Download latest package?
If you’re asking me it’s the Mi 10T Pro
Yes, works for me too, dling atm
That’s weird, I’ve done it like 3 times already and nothing seemed to change at all. I’m still stuck on MIUI 12.1.5.0
Thats what Im dling atm, you are trying to dl 12.5.0 ?
Ill report once Im done with this download to see if I can dl 12.5.
Yeah, I want 12.5 because I’m tired of all the notification bugs
Funny you would say that.
So wait, you’re telling me that notifications are messed up in 12.5 also?
You new to this sub
It depends on the phone, what phone do you have?
try delete cache for updater app
It happened with me, I downloaded the update package and installed it manually via the updater app.
Just click the 3 dots , then click “choose update package”
South Eastern Europe
Had same experience like week ago. I was on 12.0.3 when update pop out –> click and disappear. It back itself like few days later and install to 12.1.5.
0.10?? I’m only on 0.5(I don’t know if it’s higher or lower, my counting got messed up by Minecraft’s version counter)
Mine arent tbh
I mean my notification bar never glitched
Same, I downloaded the 12.1.5 packaged and installed again, and after that it found an update to 12.5.
Ok stuck on 12.0.5:((
Heres what happend right now…
My download of 12.1.5. stuck at 23%, I was like “fuck it, gonna stop it”, and than I checked again for any new update and 12.5. poped up, now Im downloading 12.5. lol
Ayy I finally got the 12.5 update after so much fiddling around with it. Kinda jumpscared me lol
Shoot, I’m on 12.0.2.0 on my Mi Mix 3. I guess we’re done with updates on that…
Thank you, I just checked mine and it showed up too
I just downloaded the latest package a few times (but I’m pretty sure that does nothing), cleared the data from the updater app, then tried downloading the packages again, and lastly I switched my region to India which I heard gets the updates first. But maybe this was all just a coincidence lol
Stop, wait.MIUI 12.1? Xiaomi Redmi 9C, Only 12.0 🙁
Happened what for me? I didn’t get what you are looking for. You already have the latest update
12.0.8 stable on poco x3 NFC,
RJGEUXM, based on the same Android version
But security patch now newer than yours, I am on 2021-05-01
12.5 is the latest update
Interesting, just got the same security patch after being able to upgrade to 12.5
Meanwhile I still have the 12.3.0 version…
I’m on 12.0.2, that happens because I was on 12.0.6 and it “updated” to 12.0.2. Now I can’t upload and this version have navigation gestures bugs
nope. downloading right now.
I’m still on 12.0.2 :/
Your Android version code is exactly like mine, do you have a 10T Pro? I’m at 12.1.5 too… What was that update? 12.5?
Yeah, I have a 10T Pro and I just upgraded to 12.5. I fiddled around with the latest packages and I changed my region to India. Coincidence or not, that worked for me.
I read that you were able to update, is there anything better than before on this update?
Are notifications fixed yet? How it’s running 12.5? I might download it too if everything is fine
Here’s how notifications look in 12.5, they seem to be displaying properly for me now.
Edit: they look the same in the notification panel.
Well, the first things I noticed were that the notifications seem to be finally fixed, and now they have that iOS feel to them [which you can see right here](http://imgur.com/gallery/1w0bUoE). System sounds have changed (lock/unlock, charging), and boot animation is now different. I got a little bit more RAM (5.2 available instead of 4.9), but do keep in mind that I did debloat a lot of junk, changed the battery optimization for some apps, and switched some heavy apps for more lighter ones. Performance-wise I didn’t really play around with honestly, but the phone was already doing a fantastic job.
If there are any other specific things you’d like to know about the update then feel free to DM me!
Ohh that’s nice, I’m glad to hear that the notifications are finally fixed, when I updated my mi 10t to android 11 it messed up that, I got it in the morning also but disappeared too hahaha, I will just wait to receive it and see how it goes
I tried this and it’s downloading the same software update I have. Lmao. 12.1.5.0…
Worked for me!
Similar thing happened with me. I DOWNLOADED the 12.5.2 update and it showed the reboot option. But I thought I’ll charge my phone a bit and then reboot. After some time when I click the notification it is no longer there. It is showing the previous version and no new updates available. What do I do now?
Here I am on 12.1.2 in India with no signs of 12.1.5 let alone 12.5 :”(
It should also get the 12.5 update as soon as the pro variant, atleast that’s what I read on the official website.
change region to Germany to get 12.1.3 and then to India to get 12.1.5
My phone is redmi note 9 pro, 12.0.3 and it happened to me as well. I got a notification to update it and it was the android 11 update so i was happy. But then after a while when its at 91% it suddenly stopped and showed me like that when i checked the updates.
how did you change the region? i need to check if i can download MIUI 12.5 for Mi Note 10 Lite. And i wonder when/if it is going to be available for GLOBAL version which i am using…Plus also please tell if the notification bugs are gone? and any bugs remaining?
Edit: i saw the notification image you posted in other replies, but what if the notification message is long/big? and then when you click on reply (from within notification panel), is it showing weird smaller/buggy edit text box or is it fixed now?And also is the battery issue fixed? do you notice better battery life, or is it gotten bad or anything?
Edit-2: I was able to change my phone’s region to india but still no latest package as 12.5, and it was downloading same package that i already had.And I’ve been checking online and it turns out that 12.5 is still release as beta (according to XDA) and stable version will be release sometime later.
Go to Settings and just search for “region”, then I recommend you to switch to India (make sure to switch back though because changing your region will also change how some system apps will behave/look)
Also notifications seem to have been fixed, [here’s how they look now](http://imgur.com/gallery/1w0bUoE). Honestly, it seems like they haven’t really fixed any of the bugs that I’ve personally encountered, so I don’t know. If you have a bug that you are experiencing and you’d like me to test it out then feel free to message me the details in DMs!
Okay well I saw your edit, and to answer your questions:
I am noticing that my battery has been holding up a bit better, but I do use 144hz all the time which drains it really quick, but it definitely didn’t get worse. You might get better results on 90/60hz though.
Performance-wise, it does feels more snappy, and I haven’t noticed any stutters or lags anymore.
[Here’s how long messages look like](http://imgur.com/gallery/5l2EWDz)
[And here’s how the notifications look when you tap reply](http://imgur.com/gallery/nMW7tnS)
They seemed to have finally gotten it right this time.
Other stuff: [the volume slider looks like this now](http://imgur.com/gallery/oHEogSI) (it also vibrates when you turn up/turn down the volume), some system sounds have changed (lock/unlock, charging, screenshot), and the wallpaper does a little zoom in/zoom out when you close/open an app.
I hope this wasn’t too confusing lol
Haha it’s ok it wasn’t confusing and quite thorough in detail actually which i really appreciate 🙂
And yeah it seems that they’ve fixed most issues i guess, but yeah when i checked your notification image for long text for when you tap reply, even though it seems to be working fine BUT i noticed that you seem to be using the new version of Notification Control Centre, and for that my notification and reply option (for MIUI 12.1.4) seems to be ok as well (even though not great as it is for your now :D)… but the thing is i usually like (and use) the older version of Notification Control Centre (**where all other options and settings are showing above notifications etc**), and then i get a long text notification and click on reply (from the notification), then it gets messed up, like “Reply” and “Mark as Read” options get behind the Edit Text box and while typing it seems to be looking quite ugly. Plus the send option is quite small and sometimes doesn’t work at all and clicking on it opens the app, which isn’t what i usually want at that time :’D
So yeah i hope now it is fixed for the older version of Notification Control Centre as well :’)
yes, the next day I was actually able to download it. That triggered me so much.
