Xiaomi zmi aura model qb822 20000 mah. The qr code just routes me to install wechat. Signing up for an account seems way too hard, it’s asking me to ask someone else with wechat scan a different qr code or whatever. The website link on the purple sticker with the security code times out on me. Any help appreciated!
Enter the 20-digit code to verify, in this [site](https://www.mi.com/global/verify/#/en/tab/secur).
I’ve tried that too, nothing happens after I click verify. Not surely exactly what’s going on.
That site crashes often. You should try sometime later.
I see. Guess I’ll keep trying. Gotta say, I’m regretting this purchase already.
go to xiaomi support online they will help you.
I went to chaxun.zmifi.com, typed in your code, and it says your verification code has been checked before 🤷♂️ So it’s impossible to know if it’s real or fake now.
Does it work? Does it charge a device the correct number of times to indicate battery size? (4 charges with a phone that has a 5000mah battery) if yes. Then who cares of it’s genuine or not lol.
where can I buy original battery for a mi 9? mine is about 70%, it doesnt make 4 hours of SOT
Just got it so haven’t had a chance to test it. And the reason I got it was for my Nintendo switch. I don’t want some fake powerbank possibly killing a device that costs 10 times more than itself.
Wow Ok. Perhaps one of the many times I tried it is the reason, though it just gave me an error every single time. Appreciate you checking though!
Box quality looks suspicious.
It’s got 2 usb A out ports. I can’t seem to see a logo in either. Perhaps I’m just missing it? Do all xiaomi powerbanks have that logo?
You think so? Personally I thought the box looked quite fine, aside from a few light dents which would most likely be due to the seller only wrapping it in 1 layer of bubble wrap. Might as well not have bothered with any.
Don’t knowyć, but look on aliexpress for NOHON batteries. They are pretty good, i used one to replace a battery on my old redmi 4x and it turned out to be better than original one. 2 years later, it’s still going strong. Quality stuff
Just the usual info. Capacity, different voltages, wattage, model, proper disposal ‘pictutes’ some Chinese text on one flat side. The different voltages near the ports as well.
Google for “zmi aura power bank unboxing” watch the youtube video of “today i feel like”.
The box design is definitely different, did it come with the same accessories?
I believe it’s different because mine is a Chinese release. No usb c to c cord and no pouch. Only 1 manual. The led indicator is readable if the ports are pointing upwards, while in the video the ports have to be pointed to the ground for the led indicator to be read in the correct position. I did check out another video “Xiao mi zmi aura 20000mah powerbank 27w” by Sean blog and everything there is identical to mine. Except I can’t confirm if he also only got a USB a to c cord because he skipped that part. The video is not in English, though.
they should(i own 2 mi powerbanks)
Powerbank shouldn’t kill switch, only the 3rd docks can do that.
I found the embossed MI logo! I was looking at the wrong area earlier, instead of looking at the back “wall” of the USB A port, I was looking at the silver areas where the USB A plug actually comes into contact with the port.
I also tested pass through charging on an older iPhone and it does work.
Peek into the USB slots and the USB cable’s Type-A jack, there used to be a “MI” logo engraved on the inside on older Xiaomi power banks, not sure on the newer ones. Use a flashlight.
Yep, it’s there.
Should be authentic then.
Xiaomi authentic original batteries are not available for purchase by end consumers. Xiaomi only supply batteries to authorized service centers. I can guarantee all batteries being sold retail as “authentic / original Xiaomi” are 1000% fakes.
The authorized service centers will handle your Xiaomi phones, even though yours not purchased with warranty. As long as the phone’s was released in your country, you should be able to get them to change batteries, but with parts + service cost of course.
If your phone is China only release, like the Mi Mix Alpha, for example, then you can’t go to the service centers because they won’t have the batteries in stock. The only option are after market batteries, but they usually have lower quality than originals save for a few exceptions. Also, it’s better to buy *branded* after market batteries, instead of fake Xiaomi batteries.
I believe it definitely can unless the switch itself has some sort of overcurrent protection or something like that. Keep in mind I never even been close to a switch so I don’t know how it charges etc. But I’m pretty sure a shady powerbank can damage it.
I got Redmi 20000mah powerbank made by Zimi corp. It can charge Mi9 (3300mah) 5 times. Never got 4 charges•5000mah battery=20000mah with previous batteries and phones.
This is not how it works. It’s 20000mAh at 3.7V, the power bank needs to convert the 3.7V to 5V first (or even higher voltage if it supports quick charge etc). Which means that it will not charge the 5000mAh phone 4 times. The converter isn’t a 100% efficiency device so it depletes some of the power bank power in heat. And charging also isn’t 100% efficient so it also makes your phone warm, losing some of the power of the power bank. Here is a good explanation: https://powerbank20.com/en/actual-output-capacity/
edit: 20000mAh @ 3.7V is 74Wh, 74Wh @ 5V = 14800mAh
Yes, that’s pretty normal, the 20000mAh is at 3.7V (the operational voltage of the batteries in the power bank), https://powerbank20.com/en/actual-output-capacity/ here is how it works.
edit: 20000mAh @ 3.7V is 74Wh, 74Wh @ 5V = 14800mAh
I had the same concern when I bought a power bank for my Nintendo Switch. I went with the best quality one i could find for the price in the end and its been awesome.
One of the main reasons i went with this is it states nintendo switch in the advert
