9T Pro, flashed the rom from xiaomi.eu
Me too, makes me so happy, totally worth the time it took to unlock the bootloader and flash the rom
Does it work with the nova launcher?
So my poor mi 9t’s battery life is going to get even shorter? Damnit
I use it with nova but you need to download the apk file and google wallpapers app
There’s a few step if you wanna use the with the lock screen zoom. 1) set your theme to “classic” 2) download wallpaper app (by Google) in app store. From there, select live wallpaper and set both
I installed miui 12 and I don’t have those, how do I get them?
On number ^ 1) in the wallpaper option. Set a live wallpaper (any live wallpaper will do)
I flashed the miui 12 rom from xiaomi.eu on my Mi 9T Pro, they came preinstalled
I like pixel experience too but they have improved MIUI significantly with 12, I don’t think I’ll be flashing back to a pixel rom any time soon
How much performance and resources does it consume?
It hardly consumes more power, not noticeable at all in day to day usage. Try it and you will see, its probably a 1% or less extra power usage.
The extra power usage is negligible. Especially on a 9T, you have nothing to worry about
Yeah its scary to flash if you don’t know what you are doing, I bricked my phone while trying it and had to restore it. Whole process took me almost 6 hours and I barely understood what I was doing and had to look at a lot of guides. Definitely wait if you don’t feel confident about flashing a rom.
It hardly consumes more power than normal. Try it and you will see, its probably a 1% or less extra power usage. Keep in mind you are not going to be looking at the wallpaper all day just a few seconds as you navigate to the app your looking for.
Of course you can, xiaomi is not holding back anything with this update
What? My Mi 9t only gets to 50% everyday, with very heavy use.
Is miui 12 on Redmi 7?
This isn’t normal MIUI, it’s customized by xiaomi.eu and debloated
It wont be avaible on mi 9t 🙂
I can’t make any complaints for only 350$ this phone is wonderful
If I’m really nitpicking. I would say the drawbacks would mainly be the vibration motor, you can tell this is one of the places where they cut corners to reduce the cost. But hey, $330 for a 128GB version that I got is a steal compared to it’s rivals.
So is this miui still not available?
No sketchy Chinese framework?
it will be
https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/miui-12-super-wallpapers-floating-windows-animated-icons-eligible-devices/ i couldn’t find the original source but this should do it
Not unless you flash it with an unlocked boot loader, takes some time but I think it’s worth it be careful though you could brick phone if you don’t understand how to do it properly
That sucks. I think I’ll just wait xD
The ios type slide is nice I can slide it side to side to cycle through open apps. I can also slide up from the corner to activate Google assistant. I like it better than the MIUI 11 style but you can turn that old style on if you want.
If you want to nitpick really hard, the speaker isn’t the best you can get on a smartphone
does it work with nova launcher
I also have 9T pro, but still on miui 10. I haven’t clicked on the update to miui 11 yet. If I update to 11, will it wipe my data? Also if the miui 12 officially comes out, do i need to get to 11 first? Or can i go straight to 12? Thanks.
I have the most gorgeous wallpaper. 🙂 A picture of my girlfriend. 🙂
Bloatware can be annoying and difficult to delete
For some reason my Mi 10 Pro with Xiaomi.eu doesn’t have any of the stock wallpapers… 🙁
Any way to convert those for other launchers?
Send it to me I’ll set it as my wallpaper too 😉
does anyone know if it will be possible to flash the mi 9t with the 9t pro miui 12 os as for some reason the 9t is clearly not listed to have these new features
i need the global rom now
It was built in
Which version did you install
If you update to miui 11 from the settings it wont wipe your data, you probably can update directly to 12 when its out too but we’ll have to see when it comes out
I noticed about a 1 percent increase in power consumption, used it all day today
I’m running the same ROM (20.5.21) but I don’t see the super wallpapers section in my wallpaper app. Did you install anything extra or enable some option?
Edit: I read it’s only enabled on SD 8xx devices at the moment, so not the Mi9T.
I have mi 9t. I can’t get the update. Why is that?
Fuck I want it so bad
They still need to fix the guesture bar, no transparency effect in apps and it says on the home screen
It’s not out yet. He got it from Xiaomi.eu
There’s this java program, that can be installed easily and you can uninstall most of the bloatwares.
Does it require additional permissions? Cause if it does, I won’t even bother.
Could someone upload mp4 files. Or video files of these wallpapers?
It definitely should get it. Its specs are also the same as 9T Pro (apart from battery). I’ve seen Mi 9 on both rollout lists – in the launch video and on Miui’s Twitter.
It will be the first device available lmao
I guess mine has a problem. I’m gonna test it now
Damn, hope you find the problem. Sometimes malware can cause a high energy consumption. Maybe run a malware scanner of some sorts. 🤷
Ohh, hope it gets enabled on the mi9t soon :/
I was talking about super wallpapers not about miui 12
Really, only that much? That’s so little!!
Well jokes on you I am using super wallpapers right now. You can download it from internet
Even samsung phones can download it from the internet i am just saying it wont be available directly with miui 12
As a Croatian, I never expected to see a part of my homeland as wallpaper on MIUI. Gotta love Xiaomi.
I also set the ambient display to turn off after 10 seconds and turn on when I double tap the screen but I don’t think the ambient display consumes that much power if you leave it always on either
I’ve been smiling every time I use this update, the whole UI is beautiful!!!!!
Did not ask for any permissions. Did you think the earth wallpaper would want location permissions? It doesn’t because it already has those three destinations to zoom into
Where did you get these from?
Here is the link to the rom if anyone is interested: [https://xiaomi.eu/community/forums/miui-12.206/](https://xiaomi.eu/community/forums/miui-12.206/)
The guide I followed, worked for me but you might need an updated one in the future. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neDTgsCal3I](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neDTgsCal3I)

Yes! Just download the apk’s to install the wallpapers. Give a search in the page of xda developers.
No chance, it seems: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/does-miui12-has-super-wallpaper.55482/post-545474
The themes app requires permissions and authorizations. Hell, a lot of apps that are not supposed to ask for them do, so I’m not sure what your point is about the destinations
I found that there is already a way to enable it on any Android phone. Someone on Xda posted modified apks of the wallpapers.
Those are ports of the wallpapers. Here’s a way to install the official ones: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/super-wallpaper-does-not-available-in-mi-9t.55608/#post-541686
My mi 9t is always in battery save mode and with 2 hours movie, 3 hours social media and 1 hour youtube i get to around 30% every day
Hi there, I really need to know how did you manage to set the ambient display to turn off after 10 seconds. I’ve tried everything, believe me, every single option, tried not allowing items to show, turning the “screen off” option after 30 seconds, but every time I lock the phone the ambient display keeps on for ever if there’s light, and for like 10 minutes if it’s located in a dark place. Is there really any option to set the ambient display to turn off after a certain time? Thank you!
