I personally do not have a background noise issue, when recording at 1080 30-60/4k 30-60-120 and even at 8k 30. May perhaps be due to a hardware issue, not sure. Contact Xiaomi and let them know about it in providing proof.

There will be less load on CPU and GPU. I always turned them down to 0.5 on any android, or if your phone is old and struggling turn them off completely. my 15u is on 0.5 and feels great.
