It's a bit of a long shot but have you tried selecting Hitachi in stead of Toshiba in the Mi remote app? In europe, both are manufactured at the same plant so it's worth a shot.

Install Activity Launcher in playstore and write Storage clear cache use the normal cleaner xiaomi too and u can delete MIUI folder but if u have some important thing better backup i do 3 times and no problems with files but if u want backup
