I have a Mi 11 T Pro which I bought when it was released, I used fast charging sparingly and the phone still works fine and has a decent battery life which would get me through a day of usage.
Given that this device is nearing its EOL you should get a newer phone.

I wouldn't really suggest S24 Plus for gaming, The Exynos 2400 isn't that great for gaming or performance intensive activities. I would go for Xiaomi 15 if the choice is between 24 Plus and X15.
