….Oppo seem to have it right, but I do think it’s worth us all remembering these phones don’t use 12mp to save space, indeed the companies would make more selling cloud storage by increasing file size…. They use 12mp because they pixel bin and it creates the better image.

Maybe it's because of the gesture navigation? Try switching to 3 button navigation and see if it's the same case. If yes then there's probably something ain't right.
