Both make really good power banks tbh Xiaomi and Anker are like top 2 to me. But if prices are same, I’d maybe lean alittle more towards Anker, I cant explain why but its just me. I have had multiple powerbanks from both brands and has never had issues. One thing I’d note though is 30W enough to charge laptops? I typically only use 60W ++ power banks now adays.

I would double check to make sure a phone not brought from Verizon or available in the US will actually work properly. Most of the major US carriers and for sure Verizon have a stupid whitelist of approved phones. If the phone isn’t on that list, it will either not have access to 5G, VoLTE and other important functions or the SIM simply will be locked out until it is put into a phone that they approve. Something to do with reading the phone’s IMEI and comparing it to their database. Really stupid in my opinion.

I’ve heard you may be able to get around it by using a prepaid SIM but doesn’t always work. I think AT&T may be only one without such a check but I’ve also heard of people being okay with forgien phones on T-Mobile.
