Many people around me still buy 700-1000$ phones showing how cool their phones are, and sometimes I even feel uncomfortable to tell them that xiaomi offer the same at 300$ price, because anyway nobody gonna accept these facts after spending so much money. I dont even understand how this informational shield works. Dont people at least try to google what manufacturers offer nowadays and price comparison? Or they still just go to the nearest shop asking consultant who is barely know difference between phones. Its like I remember I went to like 5 smartphone shops in uk and none of them had consultants who know what is OnePlus, not talking about Xiaomi, because they never had them in shop. And how can we ask advice from people who basically lives outside of what happening in IT world. After that we have whole countries who think that Apple and Samsung are the only phone manufacturer’s. What I’m talking about, here in uk people call microUSB or typeC charger as “samsung charger”. I heard it so many times…
