So this is happening for a while now, first on MIUI 10 and then 11. Never flashed with another ROM, only factory reset the device a few times to no avail.
While sometimes it boots up, it rarely stays on for more than a few hours.
Moreover, I noticed that when I press down on the middle of the screen with one finger, screen starts to show some damn impressive glitch art and then it shuts down.
Not sure how this can be troubleshooted, should I consider it a hardware issue?

Now that's messed up. Pretty weird, but when I saw that weird problem on my RN7, I used to just reboot the phone and it would work. Don't know what's happening there. Sorry for not being able to help, but I gave it an upvote for visibility

I know they aren’t ever going to be on the Pixel equivalent, but they are royally screwing up things with the Mi A(?) line up. This time the media publicized it and Xiaomi all of a sudden releases Android 10 to the Mi A3 and it’s a disaster for many. They need to slow down releasing phones and give their line up updates that are required.
My Mi A2 lost the ability to connect to WiFi with the Android 9 update last year. The Android 9 update was pulled last year for the Mi A2 because it was so awful. It took months to fix some of the bugs and some they never fixed. Mi A2 has Android 10 bugs that still require fixing. I always do a factory reset after an OS update and many of the bugs remain.
