i have followed all the steps to unlock bootloader but when I connect my phone to pc to mi unlock tool in fastboot mode it’s showing not connected to the phone please help

Im finding lots of these lately. Action should be taken to keep this subreddit clean. I would gladly apply for a mod to prevend this,as im already checking daily here and have time to ‘spare’
