I was hoping for >5Ah same as in MI Note 10, as some previous leaks suggested. That would be a strong argument for me to choose it over some other phones. Oh well.

now the choosing game between the mi note 10 and the mi 10 will begin… You want a bigger battery or 5g and (maybe) wireless charging?

Then get an iPhone if it’s better in your opinion.

I like rooting, flashing ROMs, messing with GCam etc, good luck doing that on an iPhone. But I won’t go post such comments on threads about new iPhones, what’s the point?

Who cares man, Xiaomi is one of the most affordable makes and Apple is the complete opposite. It’s like comparing Golf GTI to BMW M3, makes little sense yet both have their place on the market and very different target audience.

You’re either dense or trolling, either way GTFO.

I guess if you want bigger battery, wait for the Redmi ones. Redmi usually have more on specs while cheaper but have “cheaper” build.

The camera doesn’t work very well fyi on the mi note 10, I read there is very very bad lag issues when taking photos. Could be the weaker processor cannot handle the 108mp camera

The big sensor is more suited for landscape shots anyways and the 108mp mode is a few swipes away, so unless you switch to it normal photo mode is fine with continuous shooting

If you’ve ever used any “Chinese” manufactured phone outside of the Xiaomi family (I’m talking brands like Elephone, chuwhei, umidigi, meigoo (yuck.. meigoo. Had one once. Hated it.) Anyway if you’ve ever had a PROPER “china” phone you will know that despite them having a 8950mAh battery, which sounds cool on paper …

It means *dick* all if your phone’s processors and motherboards etc can’t function properly and your phone is cooking hot and dies after an hour anyway due to inefficient RAM. If the battery is modest but they have put sufficient development into the processors and chipsets and software optimisation then the battery will be fine. I’m on a mi9SE that’s hmm…. 10 months old? It’s got a tiny battery. I’m about to go to sleep here in aust and I am on 15% and I’ve been using my phone a lot today

Having a massive mAh battery isn’t that important … How far you can make a phone battery go, *is*

It’s rumored to have same size 6.39″ screen, as for heavier, yeah, maybe, but I’d always take a bigger battery over thin and lighter.

I just don’t get it. How can they manage to improve the Battery of the Mi 10 to 4400 mAh when the Mi 9 has only 3300 mAh with the same screen size ?? Same deal with Samsung, the baseline S20 has an enormous 4000 mAh battery !

I wouldn’t, I’m not a fan of heavier phones. My Mi9 is about the perfect weight for me, although I wish it was slightly smaller

If the height and size don’t bother you, please check some battery case. 😁

That’s bullshit. Jailbreaking is only another word for rooting, and unlike Apple most Android devices have a more open hardware platform to work with and of course an open source OS.

I used Elephone s8 for a while, and it was a great value phone. The mediatek soc ran hot, but otherwise snappy, clean OS, full day battery and visually fashionable. Since average people don’t know the brand, people just thought it looked cool, especially since it beat a lot of bezel less phones to the market. Those brands are hit and miss, but some are a bargain.
