Looks awesome. Imo you would be better of filming a sunrise or a sunset
Looks amazing, i’ve been doing some sky photography too, but i haven’t tried a timelapse, quick question,
What settings did you use?(iso, exposure time, etc)
Amazing! You could probably speed it up even more. Great job!
Looks amazing! What’s the music?
That’s ok! They’re great frames! Also, timelapses are allowed to be short. So even double time, your 14 seconds becomes 7 seconds. That’s not bad!
Orion’s belt and nebula are pretty dope too.
Dies this world on an MI phone (redmi note 8 pro)
it does work
Ok thx
Great, I love it!
How much time to create all of this ?
Inspiring
Can you explain how the video was created? Is there a timelapse option in pro mode or did you take multiple photos and use a video editing app to make this video?
You can setup the phone on a tripod, run pro mode and set it to 28 secs (or whatever).
Run an app like Autoclicker ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.truedevelopersstudio.automatictap.autoclicker )
And tell it to click the shutter button every 30 secs.
Walk away for an hour and get 120 pictures.
Edit all the picture together in a timelapse app or video editor and tell it to use 24 pictures second. 120 picture will give you a 5 sec video.
Any tutorial may i get? In pro mod i’ll do these settings okay but after that?
This looks so calming and cool 😻
Nicely captured the orions belt+sirius
This is so beautiful 😊.
was this taken on default settings??
Ohk…thanks

Wow! iPhone 12pro max can’t have this shot right?
It’s not a sarcasm. I legit in awe seeing your post. If iphone can do this i’m pretty sure it’s not better. Xiaomi is so underrated man! And the prices of the products are so affordable
And what about the battery life?
Do you plug on the energy or it doesn’t need to?
I use Redmi Note 8 Pro, at 32-second exposure the picture has a lot of white noise even though ISO is set at lowest. You should try to see if it’s my phone problem only
I will try
Looks great! I would suggest you to use 16 sec exposure instead of 32 sec for getting more photos in less time. If you’re experiencing flicker then there’s a software called LRTimelapse which works with Lightroom, you can use that correct the exposure jump between the frames.
Actually I didn’t get any notification about the tag that’s why.
Just saw that video, its smooth and looks good, however:
1. Try shooting photos in RAW and increase the shadows a bit
2. Like I said avoid doing more than 16 second exposure to enjoy longer video
3. I have recently been trying day to night timelapse and it looks great. Would suggest you to try it someday.
4. I have noticed some exposure jumps between the frames (because of the inconsistent light pollution). When you apply the same edit those unevenly exposed photos get overexposed/underexposed creating flickering in video. LRTimelapse is the tool you need, it let you edit keyframes(particular frames in video) and then creates a smooth exposure transition(every photo has different settings to create a smooth non flickering video).. later it has a deflickering tool which helps you to remove flicker.
5. I would suggest you to start using Premiere Pro as it has got a lot of useful things.
Recently I have made a tutorial video on how to shoot timelapses like these just using your phone. It’s [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/m41hc6/how_you_can_shoot_star_lapse_or_night_sky/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share). Did you saw it?
I can feel you. Actually the gcam takes multiple 8/16 second exposures and stack them; that’s why it takes 3-4 minutes. You can use any other third party manual camera app, i have personally used Pro Cam X and it works fine on my k20 pro.
