The obvious perk chinese version has is the 6k battery and its a bit cheaper, my only concern with the chinese version is the availability of the esim as i have found out that chinese ones don’t have esim support.
Also Android auto im not sure if its available on chinese rom.
Any advice on which one to take? Battery is a huge deal for me that’s why strongly considering the chinese version.
eSim is too important to be left out, also it’s a phone, you probably won’t be buying one for a long time so paying a little extra is not baf
I agree, however my point of buying the chinese version was because of the larger battery almost 600mha extra does make a huge difference. Is it true though that chinese ones dont have esim? As i did my research and esim isn’t banned in china.
The Chinese version doesn’t have eSim. So honestly it’s up to you, what do you want more between a bigger battery and eSim?
Both. Paying that amount of money the flagship phone must have everything usual flagships have im mad at xiaomi for not providing the same capacity of battery for the global version same as 14u global vs chinese the global had lower battery even then.
On another note there’s a physical esim that you can install on the physical sim slot to enable esim functionality in those phones that lack one but im not sure if i can find it in my region as most new phones sold here already have esim support.
Also battery is something you’re going to need daily and esim only when you travel abroad which for average people its usually once or twice a year.
That little battery difference is about an hour in usage. Just get the global and be done. It isn’t banned in China, they just don’t have any carriers to use it so no CN phone includes it. Why include it at an additional cost when it has no usage.
Perhaps chinese folks also would like to travel abroad? There are international esim providers so no chinese carrier having one shouldnt be the reason in my opinion.
An hour in usage and perhaps extra 3-4 months of battery longevity as batteries tend to wear down each year 600mha is significant if one wants to keep the phone at least 5 years.
These features aside availability of bands should be confirmed too if one buys the chinese version.
Add a 9ber esim card for 20 bucks and you have the bigger battery and esim.
Link for purchase?
Do not buy chinese.
Why?
You will have Band20 problems and no reception in rural areas. No Quickshare, you need to install 3rd party xiaomi eu rom for proper software. No e-sim.

That wont be acceptable if this is the case. But i gotta check the supported bands
I have global and I don’t regret the smaller battery
