Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, HyperOS 1
I was testing my desktop keyboard and mouse with my Redmi Pad Pro and looking through the settings of my Note 11 when I saw a mouse setting, in my phone. I decided to connect the wireless adapter to my phone and immediately a cursor appeared! I thought only my Pad Pro supported this!
They work on “all” Android devices since like ages…Either cable or wireless
This is the first time I’m hearing of this. No reviews of any devices (aside from tablets with 1st party keyboard cases, and Samsung Dex capable models) talked about keyboards or mice working, especially not with phones.
Yeah, it’s not something everyone would use on a small screen so it’s not really interesting for the whole audience, hence why reviewers skip such stuff. 🙂 And this isn’t really just an “Android thing”, the core of the OS supports natively peripherals, not only a mouse and a keyboard, but like USB devices in general, like audio/video (not all devices, depends on the USB protocol and implementation from the OEM), USB microphone, be it cable or wireless, external storage, and many other devices…
I have recently started using a new flash drive with my phone and tablet because it has both USB A and USB C.
