I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 back in March. Two weeks ago, my gallery “restarted” out of nowhere, the number of photos were dropping more and more and the pictures I had in favorites had been removed. Then, the pictures started appearing again until everything was there again. I thought it had been just a glitch.

Then yesterday, I woke up and when I opened the gallery, it was happening again, and it went on like that for the rest of the day and keeps going on until today. I’ve tried clearing cache, forcing stop, uninstalling updates of the app. Nothing. Either it reaches a certain number before restarting again, or stays the same for a few minutes or an hour before the whole process begins again.

I really don’t know what’s going on, if anything, I updated the phone to HyperOs [2.0.3.0](http://2.0.3.0) a few days ago. It’s only happening with the default gallery of the phone, I have another app and everything is fine there, nothing has moved, nothing is restarting, same with my music player, it’s totally fine. It’s just the gallery.
