Dark Mode Forces Dark Theme on WhatsApp

I’ve got a Redmi Note 8 on MIUI 12.0.2, Android 11. Any ideas on how to stop Dark Mode to force dark theme on WhatsApp even when WhatsApp has light theme selected? It’s gone on the “Individual Apps” list on dark theme. The same happens on Telegram. Is there a way to fix this? Either with an app or by changing something on Settings? I hadn’t had this problem before. It started after formatting it.
