Updated my phone to miui 13 EU ROM.
It is a stable, public , OTA update.
My device is the mi 10T pro Global EU edition.
I restarted my device and now it is stuck in a bootloop, it will display boot screen, then go black for a few minutes and then it will restart the boot sequence by showing the boot screen again.
Things I have tried
– Removing SIM tray and attempting boot
– Removing SIM and attempting boot
– Calling my phone after black screen ( the furthest the kernel boot sequence goes)
– Booting via the recovery menu
– Draining battery to 0% and the charging up to boot
– Attempting to use ADB to reboot
So far the only solutions I have found are:
– using the recovery menu to wipe internal storage and then allowing the phone 3 hours or so to boot
– strangely every time my phone hits 20% battery left the phone will boot
I have been able to access my phone 2 times after shutting down and during these 2 occasions I checked battery thermals to ensure faulty heat detectors were ruled out
Miui 13 is unable to be rolled back to miui 12.5 via the package installer, all tools in the xiaomitoolsv2 application produce errors and also miui 13 updater dosent allow me to redownload the latest package to reinstall
PLEASE BARE THE FOLLOWING IN MIND BEFORE GIVING ME SUGGESTIONS
– my bootloader is LOCKED
– I am unable to flash my device
– I have Stock recovery
Currently I am stuck on the boot loop again and I am certain the the miui 13 update any help is appreciated if there are fellow miui 13 users experiencing this. I don’t want to keep factory reset via recovery menu and waiting 5 hours every time my phone shuts down.
