After rebooting my device when it got hanged out I found the problem that it was asking for activation.
I do have the account, the phone number, the password and the Mi number match the one shown in the phone.
The steps I did was connect the device to a Wifi when I was ask to do so then i pressed activate this device and a prompt asking for the password appears I can see (as I already said) the Mi account number and the associated phone match the ones I have.
After providing the password a message appears saying “Checking the password…” then it says “Updating the account…”, “Activating…” and finally and error appears “Could not unlock. Could not login” (the original error message is in Spanish: “No se puede desbloquear. No se puede iniciar sesión”)
What may I have done wrong or what is happening that is avoiding me to activate my device?
I do have two SIM cards I’ve tried with both at the same time and also with one of each (obviously one of them is the one which has the phone number)
I’ve also tried to remove the device from my account to unlink it but it didn’t work.
As said I have total acces to my account and the password is correct.
